This is Just the Beginning, A Quick Intro
/It’s important to know who you’re working with in any circumstance, so to me it seems appropriate for my first blog post to help you get to know me a little better. You should know who you’re working with. So I think a great first question…
Why start my own company now?
I’ve spent my career working for companies from all walks. I’ve worked with small family owned companies to one of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world. While each of my positions had many positives, all of them taught me one thing. That I really wanted to work for myself! As I approached the birth of my first child the timing felt right. Working for myself offered the flexibility to be able to be present for my daughter and for me to finally take control of my future.
So what do you do that’s different?
I mentioned my years working for various companies, and I got my start and spent most of my tenure in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. Having worked with these companies I’ve realized that most understand the importance of marketing their craft, but either have no idea where to start and/or no time to dedicate to it.
Where I want to assist is to help the companies that don’t have a dedicated marketing staff. I can help companies achieve their marketing goals at a fraction of what it would cost them to bring a dedicated marketing person onto their staff.
What’s your tagline about?
Passion, Vision, and Personality are three things that I think all successful workers and businesses possess.
PASSION – Because when you are personally invested in your work and love what you do you will achieve more. I only hope that my passion for what I do helps ignite passion in those that I’m working with!
VISION – Because without a big picture you’re just going through the motions. It’s not just about where we are and where we want to be, but HOW we get there. As Gretzky famously pointed out, it’s not about where the puck is, it’s about where the puck is going.
PERSONALITY – Because without one, life is boring! Believe in what you do and why you do it and let that build the foundation of your business.
So, enough about me… going forward I’ll be sharing great marketing tips. Some of them will be solely focused on the A/E/C Industry, but many are cross-functional for any industry focus.
