Helping Define Your “WHY”
Your strategy is the purpose that drives your business. It is the reason you (and if you’re doing it right, your team) wake up and work hard everyday. It is the gap that would be left in the marketplace if you were gone tomorrow. Too often there is a communication breakdown between business leaders and the teams they lead and customers they serve. It is so important to communicate a brand message, internally and externally, that people can see themselves in and want to be a part of. My goal is to truly understand your business, its values, mission, and goals so I can help you more effectively communicate to stakeholders the value of aligning with your brand. I’ll provide you with data-driven, actionable strategies/tactics to turn up the volume on your business.
Strategy Tailored to your Needs
Developing your strategic plan can be a daunting task. It can be hard to take everything that’s in your head and get it down on paper, and for most the strategy falls by the wayside because at the end of the day you have work to do. However, it can actually be much more beneficial to have an outside professional document your strategy, because they are removed enough from the day to day of the business to really be able to capture the why and the how and make suggestions for how you get that message in front of your target audiences.
A strategy will help you document your company goals/aspirations, capture who your brand is and what it stands for, provide core messaging to make sure staff at all levels are sending the same message, and make sure that when you are doing tactical implementation that it is based on research and data instead of assumptions.
Maybe you don’t need a comprehensive strategy because you have already defined your company’s brand and messaging but need help with a specific product launch or campaign, I can help with that too!
“It’s like having your best friend write about you and say all of the things you would never say about yourself.”
Bring Purpose to Your People
The strategy process is not only important for your sales and marketing efforts, but for your internal operations. Documenting your mission and goals and defining how you intend to get there helps present the big picture. Your brand messaging should be front and center with your teams. People don’t just want a job, they want to be a part of something. Make sure they know how they play into the big picture!
